Sometimes, the only way to truly tell them how you feel about them is by giving them a poem that says how important they are to you, and how your life will not be the same without them. You need not dig deep to find a fitting poem to use on your special day.
For all human beings grief is the most difficult to face and the loss of someone dear to us is very hard to cope. The love poems you read might inspire you further. The first thing we think of is of Juliet leaning over the the balcony of her palace listening to Romeo, trying to seduce her to accept his love.
But ensure it is not over whelming because it might upset the bereaving family. Everything Shakespeare wrote was written in verse, including his numerous plays. Just remember, while you can always send beautiful roses but it's always better to send beautiful roses and a love poem, the poem that you so lovingly compose and send will stay saved in her in secret box and in her heart forever.
Give it a try, you will not regret it. Forget all that stuff you learned in school and just write.
