funeral poems

Sometimes, the only way to truly tell them how you feel about them is by giving them a poem that says how important they are to you, and how your life will not be the same without them. A lot of people read out poems at wakes and funerals.

When I met my wife she had never received a love poem written specially for her. Not everyone has the finesse and creativity to design a beautiful, romantic poem. Funeral poems for Mom should be about either the type of person she was or what she would say to you right now if you could hear her, that's what made this poem so special for me.

Writing about a person who is no longer alive is very difficult and writing about their death is worse. Sharing your thoughts will make other people understand your problems and struggles. Just like when our loved ones are at home with us and spend time in our living room.

Select a main theme for the Poem and start writing. For more tips and techniques on composing poetry, look around the net.
