relationship poems

When I lost my mother there was no way on earth that I could have written a shopping list never mind poems for funeral tributes. Not everyone is going to feel the same way about the loved on that you have lost so the poems may seem irrelevant to them.

Poetry is a profound art form because it is so versatile and the great poets in history have used the form to show that. Even though it is easier to pick someone's lines and write them down for your mother, try to express your love for your mother in our own words. The vulnerable feel of poetry allows a writer to explore circumstances and emotions in a way that is difficult to do in most writing genres.

Poetry remains the most erudite, yet the most innocent way to woo someone. It can be an expression of love, or encourage you to relax and be at peace. People should realize through the poem that they lived with a kind soul and great person.

It can be framed, written in a card, spoken over the phone, recited one to one or even emailed if time is not on your side. It is like most things in life, why waste your breathe the readers time, if there is no reason behind it; nothing gives anything, breeds the same, nothing.
